Calling all technology lovers - have you ever heard of Hangzhou? Whether you have or not, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss out on. Hangzhou is China's Silicon Valley and the haven of all things IT, present and future. Join our IT Program for a 10 day China immersion.
Learn from an expert
Take your first step towards becoming a Business Analytics expert by following classes taught by a Hangzhou University professor. Alongside Chinese students, you will learn several key data mining models and R programing, a popular open source software package in data mining.
Master the techniques and tricks of BA through a hands-on method regarding analyzing large-scale date for improved business decision making. At the end, you will take a step into the real world by creating a business analytics model using realworld datasets.
Expect more than just classes
You will spend 5 days following lectures and participating in labs, and the other 5 getting to know and understand China and the way it works. Travel around the country to its greatest cities, Beijing and Shanghai, during a once in a lifetime trip.
You will begin your trip with a 3 day stay in Shanghai, discovering the metropolis and settling into the Chinese life and culture.
Hangzhou, China
Following this you will then move on to Hangzhou, the tech hub of China, for a 7 day stay. You will do some sightseeing, take part in activities and attend some classes.
Finally, you will end your trip with a 3 day stay in the capital of China, Beijing. Explore the Forbidden City, hike up the Great Wall and enjoy your last few days as a local in China.
